Redmi Note 10 vs Redmi Note Pro vs Redmi Note 10 Pro Max: Design and display
The three Redmi Note 10 series phones follow the company’s new Evol design language, and as such, they look quite similar to each other. However, there are some subtle differences, with the Note 10 Pro and Pro Max being heavier than the Note 10 which weighs only 178 grams — as opposed to 192 grams for the Pro and Pro Max. The vanilla Redmi Note 10 is lighter than its siblings because of two reasons.
The first being its more compact form factor because of the presence of a smaller 6.43-inch FullHD+ display. It also uses plastic on the back as opposed to a sheet of glass on the Pro and Pro Max. As mentioned above, these two also get bigger displays (6.67-inch FullHD+) that can also run at a 120Hz frame rate. In comparison, the Note 10’s display can only work at a fixed 60Hz. However, all three are rated for high brightness levels as Xiaomi has used Super AMOLED panels across the Note 10 series this year.
Design
The Redmi Note 10 series features an all-new EVOL design. The Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max feature a Frosted Glass back. It is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. The devices are 8.1mm thick and weigh 192 grams.
The two phones come in Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue, Dark Night colours.
The standard Note 10 sports a polycarbonate back. It comes in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black colours. The device weighs 178.8 grams and is 8.3mm thick
All three devices come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Note 10 series features a 3.5mm headphone jack and also comes with an IR Blaster.
Redmi Note 10 offers up to 6 GB RAM and will be available at a starting price of Rs 11,999 from 16 March.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship series – Redmi Note 10 series – which includes Redmi Note 10 (Review), Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. While the new models still drag along some old features like 5,020 mAh battery, support for 33 W fast charging and similar punch-hole display design, it also brings some good features for smartphones under Rs 21,000. The Redmi Note 10 series comes with features like 120 Hz Super AMOLED display and 108 MP quad camera setup. The two features are especially exciting to see in the price segment.
But, is it ground-breaking? On paper. Yes.
Do we need that? Maybe.
It all comes down to which new Redmi Note 10 series model will the masses prefer? Which one brings more value for money?

Conclusion
Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max come with the same specifications except for the camera. So, unless you really care about the 108 MP quad camera, you can ditch the Pro Max model. Also, while we are yet to test the smartphone, it’s notable to mention that the 108 MP primary sensor though looks good on paper, Google Pixel series is proof that the number of megapixels and sensors may not necessarily translate to premium picture quality. But that’s not to say that it’s not interesting that the 108 MP camera-sporting Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is priced at Rs 21,000, while the OG Galaxy S21 Ultra with 108 MP camera tech costs over Rs 70,000.
Talking about the Redmi Note 10, it’s not much of a jump from its predecessor since it has a smaller battery (Note 10: 5,000 mAh, Note 9: 5,020 mAh), faster-charging speed (Note 10: 33 W, Note 9: 22.5 W), similar 48 MP quad-camera setup, same size display and the same 13 MP selfie camera.

Which one should you buy?
The three Redmi Note smartphones offer absolute value when you compare the spec-sheet and the price associated with each device.
Out of the three, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the most premium offering priced at Rs 18,999. The difference between the Pro Max and the Note 10 Pro is the primary camera sensor. The Pro Max model comes with a 108MP primary camera. If you shoot a lot of photographs and want the high resolution sensor in the price range, the Note 10 Pro Max is the phone to go for. Others can opt for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
The standard Note 10 also packs excellent hardware for the price. If you are tight on the budget and want a phone with a Super AMOLED screen and a big 5000 mAh battery, the Redmi Note 10 should be a primary consideration.

По части производительности у меня всего лишь одна претензия. И эта претензия к охлаждению, почему так сильно троттлят смартфоны Xiaomi мне решительно непонятно.
Сначала мне казалось, что Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 горячий, но потом ко мне приехала Pro версия. И это не последний Xiaomi, который так сильно греется.
Существует мнение, что в игровом режиме телефон вообще не греется, но на самом деле нагрев уменьшается минимально.
В остальном же минусов нет. Оперативной памяти достаточно для безпроблемного серфинга между приложениями.
Постоянная память в целом также быстрая. Чтение и запись файлов происходит быстро. Конечно, это не рекорды, но все в пределах нормы.
Графический ускоритель с легкостью отрисовывает интерфейс в 120 к/с, в частности в тех приложениях, которые поддерживает частоту обновления в 120 к/с.

Большинство конкурентов в этом цветовом диапазоне лишены подобных вещей и это несомненно жирный плюс.
Также стоит подчеркнуть, что здесь есть 120 Гц, а это сегодня важно, ведь даже Google лишили Pixel 6 этого. Что уж таить, не у всех смартфонов за 25 тысяч есть 120 Гц, а Xiaomi делают это.
С другой стороны, здесь нет функции снижения мерцания, а это есть сегодня практически в каждом смартфоне с AMOLED. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro как раз оказался исключением в этом правиле и это очень странно.
Always-On Display в этой модели полноценный. Настроить статический экран блокировки можно максимально гибко, на выбор множество циферблатов и картинок.
Камера
Смартфоны с большим количеством мегапикселей не новшество. Раньше подобным занимались Sony, устанавливая модуль по 27 Мп, но тогда все прекрасно понимали, что это все лишь маркетинг и в реально устройство снимает в 8 Мп.
Сегодня же похоже об этом все забыли и поэтому потребитель ведется на эту уловку с 108 Мп. По умолчанию конечно же Note 10 Pro снимает в 27 Мп, все из-за технологии субпикселей, так как в такой маленький корпус невозможно поставить сенсор с честными 108 Мп.
Помогает ли такой основной модуль улучшить качество фото новоиспеченному Xiaomi? Вопрос на самом деле риторический, ответ мы уже знаем.
Если посмотреть живьем на прошлогоднюю модель и нынешнюю, то разница будет не сильной. И как мне кажется все дело в размере матрицы, так как в новой модели она стала меньше.
Широкоугольный модуль по сути также фотографирует хуже, так как размер сенсора от Sony меньше, чем та матрица от Samsung, которая стояла в Redmi Note 9 Pro.
На мой взгляд со стороны камеры это все же шаг назад, с другой же стороны другого ожидать не стоило. Ведь если где-то стало лучше, то в другом месте все останется также или станет хуже.

Внешний вид и эргономика
В исполнении Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro нет ничего необычного. Это не Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, здесь вы не найдете уникальных дизайнерских решений.
Так или иначе, с точки зрения дизайна он хорош и по естественным причинам почти полностью похож на младшего брата — Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.
Отмечу, что даже закрыв логотип Redmi, я бы вряд ли спутал его с другими китайскими брендами. В первую очередь за счет блока камер, сейчас делает так только Xiaomi.
Также если взглянуть на крышку, можно заметит что она сильно скошена по краям, что делает его очень комфортным несмотря на внушительный вес.
Рамка устройства пластиковая, левая грань чуть заезжает на крышку, сделано это ради удобства нажатия на кнопку питания.
Верхний и нижний бортик плоский, там же по обеим сторонам установлены динамики.
Верхний динамик расположен неудачно, так как во время игры он будет постоянно закрыт и эффект стерео будет нарушен.
Отдельно хотелось бы сказать пару слов про вибромотор. Отдача приятная и ее можно регулировать.
Качество сборки Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro на отличном уровне. Смартфон достаточно крепкий, он сможет пережить падения, даже несмотря на отсутствие защитного стекла.
Redmi Note 10 vs Redmi Note Pro vs Redmi Note Pro Max: What’s under the hood?
Under the hood, we have the same Snapdragon 732G chipset on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. As such, both phones do not support 5G. This 8nm silicon uses a configuration of Kryo 470 cores running at 2.3 GHz. For games, this chipset houses an Adreno 618 GPU.
The vanilla Note 10 is powered by a more modest Snapdragon 678 SoC. This is the first phone in India to use this chip, putting the Note 10 in a rather unique position. This chipset is built on a 11nm LLP process and is quite similar to the Snapdragon 675. It brings with itself an overclocked Cortex A76 cores working at up to 2.2GHz. Games are handled by the Adreno 612 GPU.

Of the three phones launched today, the Redmi Note 10 is the most affordable of the three, with the phone starting at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and going up to Rs 13,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The Redmi Note 10 Pro is slightly more expensive as it is priced at Rs 15,999 for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model, going up to Rs 18,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
There’s also a mid-variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 16,999. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the most expensive of the lot, with the base variant (6GB RAM + 64GB) retailing at a price tag of Rs 18,999. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage has been launched at Rs 19,999, while the top-end one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is available for Rs 21,999.
Camera
All three Redmi Note 10 smartphones come with a quad-camera setup. However, the sensors inside the rectangular module varies.
The Note 10 Pro Max features a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary camera sensor. The Note 10 Pro comes with a 64MP ISOCELL GW3 sensor. Both smartphones come with an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 118-degree field of view, a 5MP Super Macro Sensor with 2X zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor.
For selfies, the Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max come with a 16MP front camera.
Redmi Note 10 also sports a quad-camera setup. It has a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera. The phone also features an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Мне также понравились стереодинамики. Качество звука приемлемое, артефактов как таковых нет, присутствует намек на басы, в общем и целом смотреть кино без дополнительной колонки можно.
Звук по проводу и беспроводному соединению в этом смартфоне прокаченное, это один из тех смартфонов, где есть что рассказать.
По беспроводному каналу поддерживаются все известные кодеки, включая аналог LDAC в лице LHDC, поддерживающийся на наушниках Xiaomi и OPPO.
Во вкладке звуковые эффекты целый ворох настроек. Можно включить Dolby Atmos, который поддерживает несколько режимов и эквалайзер с готовыми пресетами. Функция Hi-Fi работает только по проводу, а отключив все улучшайзеры можно в ручную настроить эквалайзер по своему вкусу.
Кроме того, если вы используете фирменные наушники Xiaomi в настройках можно выбрать готовые пресеты специально под определенную модель наушников.
Еще есть функция регулировки громкости с учетом вашего возраста. Здесь также можно выбрать готовые профили или в ручную настроить под себя.
Из дополнительных функций присутствует калибровка кнопок, не особо важная вещь, но приятно что она есть.
